FHA Connection Password Change
Business Background


An FHA Connection ID and password are required to sign on to the FHA Connection. The password must be changed every 90 days. Use Password Change to change your password before 90 days have elapsed. If it is not changed within 90 days, you will be required to change your password when signing on to the FHA Connection.

Password Rules

A password must be eight (8) characters in length. It must include at least one uppercase letter, one number, and one special character (e.g., !@#$^&*%). Examples:

abC?1234 Me#1User
2&2=Four Gue$$Wh0

You cannot change the password to any of the last 24 passwords used. Passwords are case sensitive. Therefore, when you sign on to the FHA Connection be sure to enter the password using the appropriate case. If the password was changed to Hello#01, entering hello#01 at sign on will fail.

If you do not remember your password, do one of the following:

The password is reset to a randomly selected password and sent to the email address on record for you. (Note: You can verify your email address by selecting ID Maintenance, located near the top of the page, and then User Profile.) Sign on to the FHA Connection using the password provided in the email message. Once signed on, the FHA Connection Password Change page automatically appears requiring you to create a new password that is consistent with password rules.
