FHA Connection Password Reset
Processing

To reset your FHA Connection password, do the following:
  1. On the FHA Connection Password Reset page, type your six-character FHA Connection user ID in the User ID field.

    Note: The fields on the FHA Connection Password Reset page are not case-sensitive.

  2. Type your last name in the Last Name field (up to 20 characters).

  3. Type your mother's last name before marriage in the Mother's Maiden Name field (up to 20 characters). This information is used to verify your identification.

  4. Click Send. If processing is successful, the FHA Connection Password Reset Results page appears with a Success message near the top of the page. You can log on to the FHA Connection using the last six digits of your Social Security Number.

    If there is an error, the FHA Connection Password Reset page appears with an error message near the top of the page and an Error(s) Detected field in the Details section near the bottom of the page.

Note: If you are unable to reset your password, contact the Application Coordinator at your organization or your local HUD Homeownership Center (HOC) to have the password reset.
