|Quick Start: Lender Insurance Acknowledgment|
Lender Insurance Acknowledgment is used by the lender's Application Coordinator to apply for HUD's Lender Insurance (LI) program, acknowledge the terms and conditions, and view, add, or update contact information. Contact information is required when applying to the LI program. LI contact information is maintained by the lender's FHA Connection Application Coordinator or authorized HUD personnel. The contact information is used by HUD Homeownership Center (HOC) personnel to contact an LI lender if there are any problems or irregularities in the processing of its cases (loans) for FHA insurance.
The Acknowledgment of Terms and Conditions for LI page is accessed from the Lender Functions menu or a link on the FHA Connection ID Administration Request page.
