Condominium Package Logging
Business Background

Condominium Package Logging is used by HUD Homeownership Center (HOC) personnel to record receipt of the condominium package (legal documents) submitted for a condominium project for:

For required legal documents, see the FHA Single Family Housing Policy Handbook 4000.1.

For the HUD Review and Approval Process (HRAP), the condominium package is sent to the HOC that serves the geographical location of the condominium project, where it is logged. The condominium package may be returned to the submitter as a result of Condominium Package Logging. Reasons for returning the condominium package include, but are not limited to, the following:

A tracking number is issued for each condominium package logged. If the condominium package is returned, a new tracking number is issued when it is resubmitted.

For the Direct Endorsement Lender Review and Approval Process (DELRAP), lenders are to use Condominium Project Maintenance to upload the legal documents that have been scanned into one Portable Document Format (PDF) file rather than submit the documents to the HOC in paper or other format. Condominium Project Maintenance is available through the Condominiums function.

Condominium Package Logging Search is used to search for the condominium package and determine its status. It is accessed through the following sequence of FHA Connection links: Single Family FHA, Single Family Origination, Condominium Functions, and Condominium Package Logging Search.
