Processing
For cases requiring an appraisal, Appraisal Logging must be completed before using EEM Calculator. The procedure for processing EEM Calculator is as follows:
- Type the 10-digit identifier the FHA
assigned to the loan in the FHA Case Number field.
- If the mortgage was assigned a case number on or after September 14, 2015 and the case was not processed through Insurance Application, type the adjusted value of the property in the Adjusted Value field (up to 9999999).
-or-
If the mortgage was assigned a case number on or after September 14, 2015 and the case was processed through Insurance Application, leave the Adjusted Value field blank. The Adjusted Value from Insurance Application is automatically included in the calculation.
-or-
If the mortgage was assigned a case number before September 14, 2015,
type the adjusted value of the property in the Adjusted Value field (up to 9999999), regardless of whether Insurance Application was processed for the case.
- Click Send.
The EEM Calculator Results page appears with
the Calculated EEM Amount if processing was
successful.

The EEM
Calculator page appears with an error message near
the top of the page and an Error(s) Detected field in the Details section near the bottom of the page. Review the information in these fields. Make
any necessary corrections and process again.
