HUD maintains information on FHA-approved appraisers in its
FHA Appraiser Roster. HUD requires that FHA case appraisals
be completed only by active appraisers on the roster. The Appraisers
page allows you to request a customized listing of active FHA-approved
appraisers (information for a terminated appraiser, or for an
appraiser who is not AQB compliant, is not provided). To retrieve
a listing of appraisers:
Specify
the display order of your Appraisers
List by selecting one of the choices provided in the
Sorted
By drop-down list.
Note:
For a broad list of appraisers, enter general criteria, e.g.,
State. For a more concise
list, enter specific information, e.g., License
[number] or Last Name and First Name.
Multiple
search fieldsmay be entered to customize your search
and narrow the results.
After
entering your request, click Send
to retrieve your list (see Viewing
List Results).
To request
another Appraisers List, click
at the bottom of the page and enter your list information.
