Use Case/Appraisal Transfer to add or update the sponsored originator associated with a nonendorsed case. (See Site Map: Case Processing.) Only the current originating lender, sponsor, or agent on record in HUD's origination system can perform this change. Information on the sponsored originator must exist in HUD's system. If not, it must be entered through Sponsored Originator Maintenance by the sponsor/lender before Case/Appraisal Transfer can be processed.
