For new cases initially held during case number assignment for Homeownership Center (HOC) review, borrower validation occurs after the case is approved by the HOC and assigned an FHA case number. The following statuses in Holds Tracking indicate where a case is in this process:

Pending Borrower Validation: The HOC approved the case and a case number was assigned. Now, all borrowers are pending overnight validation.

Borrower Validation Completed: All borrowers on the new case passed the overnight validation. The Holds Tracking process is complete.

Failed Borrower Validation: One or more borrowers on the new case failed borrower validation.
