Case Number Assigned to Another Lender for the Same Property
  
 

Homeownership Center (HOC) review of a held case reveals that a case number has already been assigned to another lender for the property. Retrieve the other lender's name, address, and phone number as follows:

 
 
From the Holds Tracking List, select the held case to link to the Case Number Assignment page. Click See Lender Notes to display the name of the lending institution that received a case number for the property.

Record the case number and use Case Query to access the case. Click the Originator Name to display Lender Detail (name, address, and phone number).

The other lender must use Case Transfer (see Site Map:Case Processing menu) to transfer the case to the correct lending institution.
