Property Address is Similar to Another Case
  
 

When a case is held because the property address is similar to another FHA case currently in endorsement processing, Homeownership Center (HOC) review verifies the addresses before a case number can be assigned. Allow the HOC two days (from the time the case number request is made) to complete review of the cases; an FHA case number is issued upon completion of HOC review:

  
 
Select the held case in the Holds Tracking List to link to the Case Number Assignment Results page.  
 
Record the assigned case number located at the top of the page.  
 
If necessary, contact the FHA Resource Center at 800-CALLFHA (800-225-5342) for assistance.
