The field descriptions for the Housing Counseling Endorsed Cases (by Agency) - F17BIAA Report are listed below in the order they appear on the report.
| Field | Description |
| Parent Agency ID - Name | Unique five-digit identifier issued by HUD's Housing Counseling System (HCS) for
the parent entity exercising control over the quality and type of housing counseling services rendered for all of its branches and affiliates. The first digit is "8" or "9" followed by a unique four-digit number. |
| Agency ID - Name | Unique five-digit HCS identifier for the HUD-approved housing counseling agency affiliated with the parent agency. -and- Name of the housing counseling agency in HCS. |
| Lender ID - Name | First five digits of the unique 10-digit FHA identifier of the lender that originated the Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM). -and- Name of the lender that originated the mortgage. |
| Case Number | Unique 10-digit identifier assigned to the mortgage by the FHA. HECM case which was endorsed within the reporting period and for which HECM counseling was provided by the specified housing counseling agency. |
| Borrower Name(s) | Last name, first name, and middle initial of the mortgagor(s). |
| Certificate Number | Nine-digit identifier issued by the FHA for the Certificate of HECM Counseling, form HUD-92902 generated via the FHA Connection. |
| Endorsement Date | Date the mortgage was approved for FHA insurance. |
| Counselor ID - Name | Unique six-character identifier for the HUD-approved counselor that provided HECM counseling to the borrower(s). It
is sometimes referred to as the HECM Roster ID. -and- Last name, first name, and middle initial of the FHA approved counselor. |
| Total Cases for Lender | Count of the number of endorsed cases originated by the lender within the reporting period for which HECM counseling was provided by the specified agency. |
| Total Cases for Agency | Sum of all endorsed cases within the reporting period for which HECM counseling was provided by the specified agency for all lenders listed. |
| Total Cases for Parent Agency | Sum of all endorsed cases within the reporting period for which HECM counseling was provided by all agencies associated with the parent agency. |
