Sorted By

Specifies the order in which the list appears. Selection choices include: Underwriter ID, Underwriter Name, and State. Sort order is numerical, 0-9999, or alphabetical, A-Z, based upon the selection.

Lender ID

First five digits of the FHA's unique 10-digit identifier for the lender's home office.

Underwriter ID

FHA's unique four-character identifier for the underwriter.

Underwriter Name

Name of the underwriter for which the list is requested.

State

State in which the underwriter is located.

Status

Current status regarding the underwriter's authorization to review/certify mortgage loan origination documents for compliance with the requirements of the Federal Housing Administration's mortgage insurance program. Selection choices include:

•	Active: Underwriter has an active employment record with a lender and is permitted to underwrite FHA-insured mortgages for the lender.
•	Terminated: Underwriter does not have an active employment record with a lender (but still remains on the Underwriter Registry).
•	Both: Includes all underwriters in the list that meet the other selection criteria, no matter what the status.
