Underwriters List - Field Descriptions

The field descriptions for the Underwriters List page are listed below in the order they appear on the page.

Field Description
[Underwriter(s) on file for lender ID [99999] as of mm/dd/yyyy] Date the Underwriters information is retrieved. Lender ID displays when entered as part of selection criteria.
[Download Report to Excel File] Link to the Underwriters Download page.
ID FHA's unique four-character identifier for the underwriter.
Name Name of the underwriter.
Address Mailing address for the underwriter.
Status Current status regarding the underwriter's authorization to review/certify mortgage loan origination documents for compliance with the requirements of the Federal Housing Administration's mortgage insurance program.
• Active:Underwriter has an active employment record with a lender and is permitted to underwrite FHA-insured mortgages for the lender.
• Terminated: Underwriter does not have an active employment record with a lender (but still remains on the Underwriter Registry).
• Removed: Underwriter is removed from the Underwriter Registry and cannot underwrite FHA-insured mortgages for any lender.
