  Requesting a HECM Counselors List
  
  How to Retrieve a List  
 
HUD maintains a Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM) Counselor Roster of housing counselors who are approved by FHA to provide HECM counseling. These counselors are employed by FHA-approved housing counseling agencies that are included on HUD's Housing Counseling System (HCS). The HECM Counselors page provides several options for you to request a customized list of FHA-approved HECM counselors.
 
Specify the display order of your HECM Counselors List by selecting one of the choices provided in the Sorted By drop-down list.
 

Specify one or more of the following: Last Name, City, Zip Code, State.

Note: To locate HECM counselors in a general geographic location, enter the State; for a more specific area, enter the City and/or Zip Code. For a specific counselor, enter the counselor's Last Name. Multiple search fields may be entered to customize your search and narrow the results.

To further customize your search as needs require, select a different Validated by Agency and/or Roster Status, or just accept the defaults.
 
After entering your request, click Send to retrieve your list (see Viewing List Results).
 
To request another HECM Counselors List, click at the bottom of the page and enter your list information.
