CAIVRS Authorization Page - Field Descriptions

The field descriptions for the CAIVRS Authorization page are listed below in the order they appear on the page.

Field Description
Borrower Borrower's identification.
SSN/TIN Indicator: Type of identification for the borrower:
• SSN: Social Security Number.
• TIN: Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) or Employer Identification Number (EIN).
SSN/TIN Number: Borrower's Social Security Number (SSN), Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), or Employer Identification Number (EIN).
Coborrower [1, 2, 3, 4] Coborrower's identification.
SSN/TIN Indicator: Type of identification for the coborrower:
• SSN: Social Security Number.
• TIN: Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) or Employer Identification Number (EIN).
SSN/TIN Number: Coborrower's Social Security Number (SSN), Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), or Employer Identification Number (EIN).
Lender IDUnique 10-character identifier assigned to the lender making the request (identifier assigned to the lender by a participating CAIVRS agency/program).
-or-
Nine-digit Employer Identification Number (EIN) of the lender (only allowed for the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA)).
AgencyName of the agency (and program) through which the borrower is seeking a loan.
