Escrow Closeout Report - Processing

The Escrow Closeout Report can be viewed and printed in PDF format or downloaded by section in Excel format. (Lenders can view only their own reports.)

Viewing and Printing the Report in PDF Format

The entire Escrow Closeout Report can be viewed and printed in PDF format as follows:

  1. On the Escrow Closeout Report Results page, click the appropriate report link in the Viewable PDF Report column. The PDF reader (e.g., Adobe® Reader®) installed on your computer starts and the selected report is displayed.

    Note: A free PDF reader can be obtained from Adobe. You can click the Adobe® Reader® link to download it from Adobe's web site. This does not constitute an endorsement by HUD, or any of its employees, of the sponsors of the site or the products presented on the site.

  2. Use the print capability of your PDF reader to print the report (e.g., File, Print).

Downloading Report Sections in Excel Format

Each section of the Escrow Closeout Report can be downloaded as a Microsoft® Excel file as follows:

  1. On the Escrow Closeout Report Results page, click the appropriate report section link in the Downloadable Raw Data column. A message box appears and prompts you to Open or Save the file.

  2. Choose Open to open the file in Microsoft® Excel. Make any necessary column width adjustments and formatting changes. Then, save the file in Excel. If an existing file with the same name already exists, a warning message appears. Click Yes to overwrite the file or click No to retain it. If No is selected, rename the new file or place it in another folder.

    Choose Save. The Save as window appears. If necessary, navigate to the folder in which the file is to be located, then click Save. If an existing file with the same name already exists, a warning message appears. Click Yes to overwrite the file or click No to retain it. If No is selected, rename the new file or place it in another folder. To view the file, start Excel and open the file. Make any necessary column width adjustments and formatting changes.

    Note: The width of an Excel column must be widened if (a) numeric information appears as symbols or a formula (e.g., 2.E+09) or (b) textual information appears cut off. To widen the column, drag the boundary on the right side of the column heading until the column is the desired width. For additional information, use Excel's online help.

  3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for each section of the report.
