MIC/NOR List allows a lender to request a list of cases that were recently:
It does not include archived cases (i.e., cases with no activity for 13 months) or canceled cases. Only the cases the lender originated or for which it acted as a sponsor or agent can be viewed. Branch offices of the same lender can view each other's cases. Authorized HUD users can view any lender's cases.
The originator or sponsor/agent is no longer mailed the MIC or NOR for a case. A link to Mortgage Insurance Certificate is provided for each case on the MIC list. Mortgage Insurance Certificate can be used to view and print the MIC for a selected case. A link to Notice of Return is provided for each case on the NOR list. Notice of Return can be used to view and print the NOR for a selected case.
For a sponsored originator case, the Mortgage Insurance Certificate or Notice of Return is always issued in the name, FHA ID, and address of the sponsor.
The generated list can be downloaded to your local computer in a Microsoft® Excel file format (.xls). You must have Microsoft® Excel to be able to open and read the file. If you do not, you must have software that will allow you to use this format or convert to a compatible format for your use.
