Requesting PUD Information

1. On the Planned Unit Developments (PUDs) page, specify the display order of your results by selecting one of the choices in the Sorted By drop-down list. Results are presented in alphabetical or numerical order based upon your selection.
   
   
2. Enter at least one of the following requirements.
   

   Note: Where indicated, you may enter partial information (one or more characters) to retrieve records (PUD listing) that correspond with the entered criteria, e.g., entering "P" in the City field retrieves all PUDs in cities that begin with "P." If multiple fields allow a partial entry and partial information is entered, all specified criteria is searched and only matching information is retrieved/displayed.
   
   

   • Field Office: Select from the drop-down list the HUD Field Office territory in which the PUD is located. If All Field Offices is selected, an additional requirement such as a specific PUD Name or City must be entered.
     
     
   • State: Select from the drop-down list the state in which the PUD is located. If All States is selected, you must enter an additional requirement such as a specific PUD Name or City.
     
     
   • PUD ID: Type the full or partial FHA-assigned ID of the PUD.
     
     
   • County Name: Type the full or partial county name.
     
     
   • PUD Name: Type the full or partial PUD name.
     
     
   • City: Type the full or partial city name.
     
     
   • Zip Code: Type the full or partial zip code.

3. Optionally, change the default PUD Status by selecting one of the choices in the Status drop-down list.
   
   
4. Click Send. If information is found based on the criteria you entered, the Planned Unit Developments (PUDs) List page displays with the selected information. A message at the top of the page states: PUDs successfully completed. See Selecting a PUD from the Planned Unit Developments (PUDs) List or Downloading a Planned Unit Developments (PUDs) List.
   
   -or-
   
   If no information is found based on the criteria you entered, the Planned Unit Developments (PUDs) page displays with an error message at the top of the page that states: PUDs not processed due to error(s). The selection criteria you entered are listed and an Error(s) Detected message in the Details section at the bottom of the page states: No records matched your selection criteria. See Correcting Search Errors.
   
   -or-
   
   If there is an error, the Planned Unit Developments (PUDs) page displays with an error message at the top of the page that states: PUDs not processed due to error(s). The selection criteria you entered are listed and an Error(s) Detected message in the Details section at the bottom of the page describes the error. See Correcting Search Errors.

Selecting a PUD from the Planned Unit Developments (PUDs) List

The Planned Unit Developments (PUDs) List page appears if one or more PUDs match the information you entered. There may be several pages of PUDs from which to choose.

To select a PUD and view details:

1. Locate the desired PUD in the list.
   
   Note: If the results of the search produce more than one page of information, use the buttons at the bottom of the page to move through the list.
   
   
2. Click the link in the Legal Name/Alias column to view the Planned Unit Developments (PUDs) Detail page.
   
   
3. Use the Prior button at the bottom of the page to return to the Planned Unit Developments (PUDs) List page.
   
   -or-
   
   Click New Request to request another Planned Unit Developments (PUDs) List. See Requesting Another PUDs List.

Downloading a Planned Unit Developments (PUDs) List

You can download the Planned Unit Developments (PUDs) List information as a Microsoft® Excel® file.

1. Click Download Report to Excel File on the Planned Unit Developments (PUDs) List page. The Planned Unit Developments (PUDs) Download page appears.
   
   
2. Click the checkbox beside each field you wish to include in the downloaded file. For fields selected in error, clear by clicking the checkbox again, or click Reset to clear all.
   
   -or-
   
   Click Select All to include all of the fields.
   
   
3. Click Send to process. Your Internet browser, e.g., Internet Explorer, prompts you to Open or Save the file.
   
   
4. Click Save. Your browser will lead you through the process of naming and saving the file.
   
   
5. To download another list from the currently displayed Planned Unit Developments (PUDs) List page, click Reset to deselect all previously selected fields and repeat the above steps.
   
   -or-
   
   Click Close to return to the Planned Unit Developments (PUDs) List page. If you would like to request another Planned Unit Developments (PUDs) List, see Requesting Another PUDs List.

Requesting Another PUDs List

1. Click New Request at the bottom of the page to return to the Planned Unit Developments (PUDs) page and enter new search criteria. See Requesting PUD Information.

   -or-
   
   Use your browser Back button to return to the Planned Unit Developments (PUDs) page. Modify the previously entered selection(s) or click Reset to clear all previously entered selections and enter new search criteria.
   

2. Click Send to process again.

Correcting Search Errors

Review the error information on the Planned Unit Developments (PUDs) page. There are two common conditions that may occur: must enter at least one selection or no records match selection criteria.

Must Enter at Least One Selection

The Error(s) Detected message informs you that at least one specific requirement, e.g., State, PUD Name, or Zip Code, must be entered before your request can be processed.

1. Enter at least one specific requirement for your list. See Requesting PUD Information.
   
   
2. Click Send to process again.
   
   

No Records Match Selection Criteria

The Error(s) Detected message informs you that no PUD is found based on your previously entered search criteria, e.g., State, PUD Name, or Zip Code.

1. Modify your search criteria. See Requesting PUD Information.
   
   
2. Click Send to process again.
