If a nonendorsed case must be transferred to a new mortgage originator or sponsored originator, use the Case Transfer function (available from the Case Processing menu). For an endorsed case, use Servicer/Holder Transfer on the Mortgage Record Changes menu (available from the Single Family Servicing menu). Case Number Assignment Update cannot be used to transfer an endorsed or nonendorsed case.
