The field descriptions for the Holds Tracking List page are listed below in the order they appear on the page.

Field Description
Select One Radio button for selecting a case and viewing its details.
Originator ID

FHA's unique 10-character identifier for the lender originating the mortgage loan.

Borrower/Address Name of the borrower and address of the property.
Status Holding status of the case.
Processing: HUD's Homeownership Center (HOC) is still reviewing the case. Note: This is usually when there is a duplicate address issue (i.e., there is another case with the same property address).
Pending Borrower Validation: A duplicate address issue was resolved by the HOC and the case was assigned an FHA case number. Now, all borrowers are pending validation against Federal government records.
Completed: HOC has completed review of the case.
Borrower Validation Completed: A duplicate address issue was resolved and all borrowers passed validation against Federal government records.
Failed Borrower Validation: The name, Social Security Number, and birth date combination of one or more borrowers failed validation against Federal government records. Note: For a HOPE for Homeowners case, one or more borrowers failed the property/borrower validation.
Case Number Asgnd Indicator for determining if an FHA case number has been assigned to the case.
Yes: FHA case number has been assigned.
No: FHA case number has not been assigned.
