Informs users that when submitting a text file (.txt), the file must conform to Agency Code Seven specifications. (Click the HUD File Upload Specifications link for details.) If the file is not a text file, it must be an encrypted (.enc) file. |

Additional Messages
If the upload is successfully completed, a message states File upload was successful! Your file has been uploaded to the HMDA directory and will be processed within 24 hrs. Upon completion of processing your file, a Transaction Edit Report will be generated that you can retrieve by using the HMDA Transaction Edit Report feature.
If there is an error that needs to be corrected, a message box appears on the HMDA Data Upload page which provides information about correcting the error(s). Click OK to close the message box, correct the error(s), and resubmit.
