About Condominium Reviewer Registry
  Condominium Reviewer Registry Basics
  Background Information

HUD mandates that all unconditional Direct Endorsement (DE) lenders register the employees they designate to review/approve condominium projects for the Direct Endorsement Lender Review and Approval Process (DELRAP) condominium approval method. Lenders must certify that their registered employees meet the requirements established by HUD (see Condominium Reviewer Requirements).

The Condominium Reviewer Registry function is used by DE lenders to establish and maintain HUD's registry of certified lender-employed condominium reviewers.

Once established, a condominium reviewer's record must be recertified every two years using the Condominium Reviewer Registry function (see Recertifying a Condominium Reviewer's Record). The DE lender must verify that the reviewer continues to meet HUD's certification requirements. If a reviewer's record is not recertified, the employee is prohibited from processing any further condominium projects.
