  Condominium Reviewer Requirements

For placement on the condominium reviewer registry, the DE lender must certify that their employee:

bullet
is qualified to review and approve condominium projects,

bullet
has an FHA Connection user ID, and

bullet

does not have a record in any of the following federal systems:

bullet
HUD's Credit Alert Verification Reporting System (CAIVRS),

bullet
HUD's Limited Denial of Participation (LDP) List, or

bullet
Excluded Parties List System (EPLS) of the General Services Administration (GSA)

A condominium reviewer's record must be recertified every two years. Lenders must confirm that the reviewer is still employed by them and continues to meet HUD's requirements. If a condominium reviewer's record is not recertified, the reviewer is no longer permitted to process condominium projects.

Additionally, if a condominium reviewer's information is updated and a record is found in CAIVRS when the information is processed, the condominium reviewer's record is automatically terminated.
