About Condominium Reviewer Registry
  Condominium Reviewer - Employer Transfer

When the employer of a HUD-registered condominium reviewer is changed, the new employer must use Condominium Reviewer Registry - Employer Transfer to update the reviewer’s record with HUD. Authorized users may transfer a condominium reviewer's record with an Active status to the new lender (employer) (Terminated records cannot be transferred/updated).

Before transferring a condominium reviewer’s record in the FHA Connection, the lender should verify that the individual is not listed in any of the following federal systems—this is similar to what is done when initially establishing a condominium reviewer's record:

bullet
Credit Alert Verification Reporting System (CAIVRS)

bullet
Limited Denial of Participation (LDP)

bullet
Excluded Parties List System (EPLS) via the System for Awards Management (SAM)

If a record is located, the condominium reviewer should not be transferred. However, if no records are found, you may proceed with the transfer process.

Upon successfully transferring a record, the condominium reviewer retains the previously issued Reviewer ID, but is now associated with the new lender.
