  Held for HOC Review

Allow the Homeownership Center (HOC) up to two business days (after the case number is requested) to research the held case. From the Holds Tracking List page, select the case to link to either:

The Case Number Assignment page where the HOC remarks displayed in the Lender Notes section indicate why the case number request was rejected.
  or,

The Case Number Assignment Results page where the assigned case number displays at the top of the page.

Note: If the HOC approved the request, an FHA case number is assigned. However, the case remains in Holds Tracking pending overnight borrower validation against federal government records. The results of the borrower validation are available in Holds Tracking one to two business days following HOC approval. You may review the case Status in Holds Tracking to determine where the case is in this process.
